research

For the opening scene of my film I was inspired by an opening of a film called trainspotter which was suggested for me to look at in lesson. We are going to use the idea of the opening. We want to have a chase scene which also introduces the characters.

Our film was also inspired by the marvel film Deadpool. Our character is like him in a lot of ways but we also want him to be unique in our own way but with a low budget. We was thinking of referencing Deadpool in this film by having the superhero reading a Deadpool comic inside of a dictionary.

We had an idea of the character having binoculars while reading his comic then he'd turn to the camera saying "I'm short sited"

For the music we haven't decided what we are going to use and I dont think it really matters until we are editing. If we could I would like to use non copyrighted music. One of the themes I want to use is the Halo 3 theme finish the fight.

I will use Niel's toolbox for referencing a book that I have taken out from the library about making short films.

We also created a questionnaire on survey monkey asking several questions on the topics of superheros. I have taken all of the results I got and we took them into consideration when coming up with the idea of the superhero and adding new things to him. Some people said he should have a super suit to make him unique and also hide his real identity.

We went to the location and took some pictures of the areas we would like to use. We want to use a big open space for the fight scene. I have filled out the location recce for the location.
