Proposal

For my final major project I want to create an action/comedy film where a vigilante comes across a group of bullies. I decided to make a film because I feel thats where I have produced the best work of the year and it is what I enjoy doing the most.  I want to make our film making fun of different things like the college's rule of no weapons in the film. The film will be called tighty whitee. This is the name of the superhero. There will also be a fake documentary about the hero. I will also create a poster for this film. We are not sure about the locations we want to use yet but we will go around with a camera and taking pictures of the locations. We have an idea of what we want to happen in our film. We will take a week to film and a day for the photo shoot for the poster.

We created a brainstorm in the first lesson and at first we wanted to create a horror film but we dont think that we are ready for that so we decided to go with the action/comedy. There will be a bit of dialogue because we want to show that the character is cocky. The hero will make fun of everything he will be making fun of one of the bullies. We have an idea of who will play each character but nothing is final yet.

The poster will only take a few days to make and I dont think I should make it a priority however it will be nice to be able to move from two different projects and not get drained doing the editing. We will take the pictures in the editing suite however if there is a better room we would go there. We are going to have to film two films at once since there is two of us using the same character. We haven't decide if we are going to use green screen in the film yet that will have to be decided later in the pre production.

For the props we need to get some fake blood for the bullies beating up the victim and we are going to design our superhero's costume ourselves.  I have a blade that has been blunted so it is not sharp and I have asked if I could use it in a non action scene and I was allowed so I will be using it in the film. We are going to use a clapper. We are also going to use a flashlight for the shot of looking at the director.  I will add a opening scene showing the characters names and their nicknames. There will also be shot of the characters.

We have not decided what kind of music we want to use in our film yet but that is not really anything to be worried about until the editing of the film. We will need to find something that fits the theme of the film.

The film is going to set up the sequal at the end of the film. We want the character to end the film  standing on a rooftop. We might have to speed the film up a little bit for the fight scene because we haven't decided how to pull this off. The superhero's powers would be that he is able to teleport. We have the choice of two locations and we haven't decided where we want to use yet. We was thinking about an abandoned warehouse or a park. I think that both of them would work for the film.
